"Check his vital signs," the medic explained to the distraught woman on the phone.
"But I don't know how to do that!" the woman responded.
"It's easy: Does he have a wallet in his pocket?" the doctor asked.
"Yes."
"Check to see if he has a birth certificate. If he does, he's fine."
